Critically
acclaimed Chinese-American pianist Carmen Ka-Man Mak has been giving solo performances on concert
stages in the United States,
Canada and China. She gave her celebrated New York solo recital debut
at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in 2000, shortly after her graduation from the
Juilliard School. Praised for her artistry, insight and virtuosity in
her performances, Ms. Mak has been enjoying return engagements
at several prestigious concert venues internationally, and she has
often been invited to appear on public radio and television
broadcasts.
Ms. Mak holds a Master of Music degree in piano
performance from the Juilliard School. She also earned an Artist
Diploma from the Oberlin College Conservatory, and a Bachelor of Music
degree from the Peabody Institute. Her major teachers have been Martin
Canin and Monique Duphil. |
